Tasty Dried Fruit & Vegetables on the Go

I love dried banana chips- a healthy and tasty snack choice; a snack that satisfies the need for something salty and crunchy (which is usually a potato chip) but as a bulk bin product they are usually cross contaminated. Then came along Danielle Snacks. All of "Danielle snack chips are hand selected and cooked to perfection using the vacuum frying method, in which selected fruit pieces are put in a vacuum chamber, and a fine mist of heated non-hydrogenated palm oil is sprayed on the fresh fruit pieces under very low pressure and high temperature. This process retains pureness and flavor of the fruits and absorbs less oil than conventional frying methods." And this process makes their products taste amazingly good.

I've only had the banana chips so far, but the options they have sound so tasty. Danielle offers both fruits and vegetables, from pineapples & mango, to sweet potato & pumpkin. I can't wait to get my hands on other options, but for now I'll stick with the bananas.

I would buy out of bins occasionally, but found it to be a problem, not all the time but most of the time. They may clean out the bins with rags that have been used to clean out flour bins etc.

So I don't do that anymore except maybe for beans which are easy to clean.

These sound great!
