Yes to Carrots!

I stumbled upon a new brand of Chapstick I am completely in love with, and by extension my husband is in love with. As previously posted, I have tried many lip balm products but time and time again I found myself coming back to Chapstick Brand all Natural Stick. This product however has become more and more difficult to find, so much so I bought a half a dozen on the web. I'm now half way through my set and have not seen it back on the shelves, so I once again sought out other brands in case it's being discontinued. Now, I say...fine, let it be discontinued, I have a new lip lover who is gluten free, soy free, and paraben free: Yes to Carrots.

Yes to Carrots has three product lines, each of which feature the companies key ingredients: carrots, tomatoes, and cucumbers. The Yes to Carrots line is for those with normal to dry skin, providing beta-carotene through the entire line of lip balms, hair and skin products. Beta-Carotene has been shown to improve skin health (one example here), and since skin is the largest organ, why won't we want to take good care of it. There is also the Yes to Tomatoes line is meant for those with oily skin, and the Yes to Cucumbers, for those with normal to sensitive skin.

Within the Yes to Carrots line there are 5 flavors of lip butter: Melon, Berry, Mint, Carrot, and Citrus. I have tried both the melon and the berry, and like them both. Now here's the kicker as to why I love this product. Every time I kiss my husband he wants to wipe his lips, because he hates the feel and taste of most lip products. He was most tolerant of the natural stick from Chapstick, but he would still wipe it off. This stuff, he barely notices it. Yes...finally, after 8 years I think I have found a true winner. It's comparable to the Chapstick Natural line in price, $2.99, and the ingredients all sound good to me.
