Waffle Bowls!

Noci Gelato out of Mill Valley, CA offers gluten free gelato, and they also have some egg and dairy free options too. If that isn't cool enough for you, they just happen to market and sell gluten free waffle bowls.  One of the owners is a Celiac so they are very meticulous about cross contamination and are food allergy aware.

 I haven't been to their shop, but I did pick up some cones in the bay area, and I've got the lowdown for you! For $4 you get 4 giant waffle bowls.  They had just the right amount of crunch and sweetness to be eaten along with the gelato or ice cream you're going to fill it with.  Truly, one of these bowls filled is more of a two person dessert.
