Lesson of the week: $2.99 can make a huge difference in your quality of life. My husband and I led very different schedules right now, and between our small place, a noisy wall a/c unit, and single paned windows, once he gets up,. which ultimately wakes me, I'm awake, and this girl needs her beauty sleep. Then the hubby went to the store and came home with a box of foam earplugs. They block out most of the noise and I can easily fall back to sleep and stay asleep. Who knew it would only cost $2.99 to solve a little frustration. The moral of this story is think outside the box and work with what you have and what you can afford.
