Beauty Without Cruelty

A new beauty product line on the shelf means a must try in my book. We're not talking blush or lipstick, but conditioner and face lotion. BWC, Beauty Without Cruelty is the brand. Not everything from them is gluten free, but they do have a nice tab on their website that lists out the gluten free options. I have been trying out their leave in conditioner for about the last month and I really like it. I'm more used to a spray leave in, versus a cream, which is what this one is, but if your hair is in need of extra conditioning, this seems to work well.

I use it about every three or four days; after I towel dry, I evenly disburse about a finger tip's worth throughout my whole head. I use a flat iron on a regular basis, and noticed a big difference with my bangs being less frizzy since I started using this stuff. Just be careful to not use too much or your hair will get overly stiff when it dries.

I've also been using their daily face lotion with SPF 15. I like that it doesn't really have a scent to it; not even basic lotion smell really. It's a thick cream and a little can go a ways, but don't overly rub it in, or it will peel a little. It's almost like you need to let it cool or set. For about $12 a bottle, I think it's a nice medium between cheap, bad for your skin lotions, and more high end cosmetic brands. I will certainly by the leave in conditioner again but I'm still on the fence with the face lotion.
