Slice of Life Vitamins

Recently I was sent some gluten free vitamins to try. After about two weeks of taking them I'm ready to share my thoughts with all of you. Slice of Life Vitamins, created by Hero Nutritionals, offers daily gummi vitamins for both children and adults. For those who find themselves sneaking their children’s vitamins, there is now an alternative designed for the needs of adults while being, now prepare yourself for the long list....gluten free, dairy free, egg free, soy free, yeast free, salt free, peanut free, tree nut free, as well as free of shellfish, artificial colors, and preservatives.

I was given the opportunity to try out the multivitamin and the Omega 3-6-9 blends. I didn't yet have a multivitamin in my mix of morning vitamins, and I do take quite a handful, so it was nice to have sort of a treat after taking all my other pills. This blend is truly like candy; I completely forget it was a vitamin and wanted to eat more than 2, which is the recommended daily serving. They're gummi, shaped like slices of fruit, but do not stick in between your teeth like some gummi candies like to. As for the omega 3-6-9 blend, they were not as sweet and candy like; it was slightly more mild in taste.

A bottle of 60 gummies, which is a 30 day supply, will cost you about $2o, although until the end of March they are offering a coupon online for $2 off. Perhaps a little higher in cost than a pill, but certainly a good option for those who do not enjoy taking pills. Additionally, they offer several other blends, including a energy blend w/B12 and a Vitamin D3 blend, both of which I would be interested in trying. So really the other serious downfall is that multivitamin is so much a like a candy I wanted to eat more than I'm supposed to in one day.
