I'm not a fan of the gluten free breads that Kinnikinnick offers, however they knew what they were doing when they made their donuts. Gluten Free, Wheat Free, Dairy Free, Soy Free, and Nut Free donuts that are made in a dedicated facility, offered in 4 flavors: Vanilla Glaze, Cinnamon, Chocolate, and Maple Glazed!
The donuts are a little small, round circles about 3 or so inches in diameter, coming in at 220 calories per donut. They're sold froze and per box of 6 for about $6.00, and they are so worth it in every regard. I have not had a donut in at least 6 years, except for an experimental batch of homemade donut holes that went astray. I had been looking at the vanilla glazed ones the last couple months, and then the maple ones showed up and I couldn't hold out any longer. Both my husband and I think these are "real" donuts.
Now they need to make an eclair and either a filled donut or one with sprinkles, and they'll have a customer for life. So if you too have seen them but haven't tried them yet, go ahead, indulge yourself. You shouldn't be disappointed.

Ok, I confess, I tried the vanilla and the Maple and the chocolate. They were fab. I feel so guilty when I buy them. I sneak them into the house and throw them into the freezer before ANYONE CAN SEE. Who's here? just me and sometimes Anthony. But If I don't I open the package right away and suddenly there is no doughnuts I have no one else to blame...moral of the story...make sure you have someone there to blame.
I figure if I hide them in the freezer I won't see them as "opened" and I will leave them alone longer. My real thoughts are this: They are gluten free so they must be eaten in 2 days or the flavor is lost....as in most GF goodies. Sounds reasonable right?
So guilty or not I will continue to eat them when I can afford a goodie. Good luck to the rest of you....I challenge everyone to try them and NOT do the same thing.
Good luck.
