Are You Due for an Oil Change?

I would like to take a pause from my gluten free world, and share my positive experiences I have had at Oil Stop here in Sacramento. As a young female I often find myself being ripped off by the auto maintenance industry, left feeling questionable about whether or not my problem was actually fixed and/or if I overpaid.

Years ago my husband used to live close to the OilStop location on the corner of Madison and Fair Oaks, and he suggested I try them out for oil changes. Now 5 + years later I live about 20 miles away and I still drive out to them. Why? Because their service is absolutely excellent. It is a drive-thru service so you do not have to leave your car, and while the staff will suggest additional services to you, to keep your car in perfect running condition, they do not work on commission so you don't have to feel pressured to say yes.

They go down a 30+ point checklist, including your tire air pressure, and lubricating your door hinges, and even offer you a beverage of your choice. Plus in the summertime when it's hot, they even have air condition hoses they put in your car window to keep you cool while the work. The entire staff is super friendly and relatively clean, considering what they're doing, and you're usually in and out within 45 minutes or less, depending on how busy they are. So for roughly $30 you too can have a fabulous experience getting your oil changed. I just wish they had a location closer to my current home, but oh well.
