Bread Bananza!

There are several gluten free bread options out there, and most people are familiar with Ener-g Foods, as that is the brand typically carried at the major grocery stores, but let's be real, there are better options. In my opinion Ener-g breads seem super dry, need to be toasted no matter what, and crumbles way too easily. Now there are some yummy breads out there that are gluten free, dairy free, and egg free, but sometimes I don't want to be free of everything, and thus Charlotte's enters stage left.

Made out of Utah, Charolette's Bakery makes a variety of tasty GF (but dairy containing) rice breads, including white rice, cinnamon raisin, cranberry orange, and banana nut. They also offer rolls, pie crusts, and cookies. :-) I bought a loaf of the cinnamon raisin as that has always been my favorite type of bread/bagel, and I couldn't get home fast enough to try it.

There is no other way to say it, except this bread is GOOOOOOOD. Try it for yourself....fresh loaves come in every Thursday at Gluten Free Specialty in downtown Sacramento.
