Cheese or Pepperoni?

Eating pizza out in a restaurant or having it delivered to one's doorstep is a privilege everyone should have, and it's becoming more and more of a reality for those of us who are gluten free. While several places have started to offer GF pizza thanks to Still Riding Pizza crust, there are other places that are offering their own gluten free crusts. ZPizza in Roseville,CA (as well as other select locations) is one of them. The GF crust they use is made at an off site location to ensure it remains GF, however when I inquired as to who actually makes the crust it remained unclear as to if it was made by another company or if it was their recipe. There is always a chance of cross contamination but at least they're making an effort in the right direction. Here is the list of their GF items sent from the company:

Ingredients at zpizza manufactured without wheat, rye, or barley:

Pizza Crust:
° Gluten-free crust ($3-4 additional surcharge)

Cheese:
° Mozzarella cheese
° Gorgonzola cheese
° Ricotta cheese
° Feta cheese

Sauce:
° Organic Tomato sauce
° Marinara sauce
° Chipotle pesto
° Basil pesto
° Chutney
° Roasted garlic sauce

Vegetables:
° All fresh vegetables
° Greek olive mix

Meats:
° Pepperoni
° Italian Sausage
° Salamis

Dressings:
° Girard’s Caesar dressing
° Girard’s Old Venice Italian
° Girard’s Balsamic
° Girard’s White Balsamic

While I haven't gone to experience it yet, I was super excited and wanted to share for those who are in deep need of some pizza.

I work for zpizza corporate and can confirm that the pizza shells are made at a gluten-free, off-site location and shipped to the stores in sealed packages. Hope this helps clarify!
