The Cat's Meow

For the last few months there has been a stray cat wandering our apartment property. She's had two litters of kittens and I am sad to say not too many of them have made it. She had the second litter about three months ago and Mike's been trying to catch some of them so we could bring them to a shelter. Then yesterday, we got smart. We rented a cat trap (wouldn't have figured we could do that), and within one hour we had captured one of the kittens. A small gray too scared to move let alone meow. The shelter isn't open until Tuesday so he or she is sitting all bunched up in the back of a cat carrier in our living room.
