This year Mike and I decided we would get a tree but a small one. We drove around to a few different Christmas tree lots, and determined that the Noble Fir not the Douglas Fir was the tree for us. And it happened that Home Depot had the perfect small tree, 4 1/2' tall for $20. For just the two of us it's all we needed.
We did one simple strand of white lights; no garland.
And we kept things simple by just putting up my betty boop ornament collection; this one is one of my favorites.
And our two Peanuts ornaments, with this one at the top of the tree instead of a star or angel.
And this one Mike was super excited about because you can put a light into the ornament and make the campfire light up.

Awesome tree. Great ornaments. I have a poinsettia that a neighbor brought over with a candle. Jill, in the guest house will be moving in Late Jan. or Feb...dang. That's all my Christmas decorations except for jingle bells on the door nob.
