I vaguely remember the days of buying cinnamon rolls in a tube in the refrigerate section of the grocery store, and I'd go home and pop open the tube by banging it on the counter. Of course you had to find the tubes' sweet spot so your cracked it open just right, but once you did, then all you had to do is take out the preformed rolls, pop them in a pan, bake for twenty minutes, then wallah, add some glaze, and you're done.
Then I entered the land of gluten free and was determined to make my own cinnamon rolls. After several batches that weren't even worthy of feeding the ducks across the street, and many tweaks to my recipe I found the perfect blend. They taste incredibly good but are soooooo much work to make that you feel compelled to eat them all fresh out of the oven, and at least 2 while they're still hot.
For the last few months I've been staring at Azna's Cinnamon Rolls in an end cap at Whole Foods, and today I finally had the pleasure of biting into one of this delectable sweets. Moist and soft, I could have eaten all four rolls in the box myself, but I restrained myself and only ate one. And for the size of the cinnamon roll you'd think the number of calories would be wickedly higher, but each one is about 250 calories, so no worst than a big slice of rich cake. So if Azna's is carried in a store near you try them tomorrow, and if not, you can always order them off their website.

Ok,now I want one..no four of them. Did you know that dark chocolate (the darker the better) helps to curb your sweet tooth?
Isn't the Azna stuff fantastic? I don't know if you've heard the story of the owner, but in the last couple of months, someone robbed her blind, and she's having to rebuild from scratch---so I'm glad to see you encouraging people to buy her tasty products! Maybe she can get back on track.
Have you been to the gluten-free store in Sacramento? My best friend (who's also gf) just moved out there, and we went to that store while I was in town. Lots of good stuff there.
