There was no turkey, no green bean casserole, or pumpkin pie served up at our house for Thanksgiving. I'm not against the traditional Thanksgiving spread but we decided to do something completely different this year. We slept to 11am, which we haven't done in years, and had an early dinner.
We opted for a filet mignon, and the largest prawns we could find. Mike grilled up the shrimp excellently; they just popped. We had a nice bottle of wine and listed to our working wedding music playlist. Then for dessert we had some rich and yummy chocolate mousse.
After dinner we had a double feature of Wall-E and The Happening. So we had a comfy cozy holiday just as we had hoped for. And now that the holiday is over we're back to checking things off our to-do lists and making salsa.

Looks yummy!
OK, that's it. I'm coming to your house to eat. I had one of those little chickens stuffed with rice and cranberries. Mixed veggies and may I make a point here....NO, and I mean NO....desert. I just don't need the calories right now. I am waiting to use them for the wedding.
The sacrifices!
Oli I can't believe you didn't have dessert. A meal is just not complete without it!
