If you're having a craving for a great cut of beef I highly recommend having a nice night out at Ruth Chris' Steak House. Known for their cooking technique of grilling their steaks at 1800 degrees, the higher price is certainly worth it. They only use salt, pepper, and butter so there is isn't much to worry about for those of us with celiac. They also have great side dishes; try the mushrooms. With a dark, someone romantic feel this is a place where you want to leave the kids at home and truly enjoy yourself, and if it's a special occasion, you may want to mention that, as we got a complimentary dessert.
If you're looking for more of a family feel head on over to P.F. Chang's. They have a printed gluten free menu onsite and serve everything family style. The place can be a bit loud, but it's a great social place. Chang's Spicy Chicken is one of their signature dishes, and it's gluten free. Even if you don't favor spicy dishes, try it!; the rice will calm down some of the spice, and it's not really that spicy. The lemon scallops and the Cantonese shrimp are a great mild-flavored alternative. And I finally saved enough room for dessert during my last visit, and let me tell you their fudgy flourless chocolate cake is absolutely to die for.
