The Sodium Struggle

For awhile my body was craving ginger, and so I consumed it in every form- tea, dried, candied, etc. and now I've been craving salt. I knew I had a problem when I found myself at the zoo eating the chunks of salt straight off my friend's gluten-containing pretzel. Off to the store I went, and picked up a bag of white sea salt (great on everything), bamboo green jade sea salt (great on salads), and red volcanic clay sea salt (great on chicken). It's been about a month and I think I'm finally getting past this weird need for extra salt in my diet, but if you're looking for a good brand, I really love Palm Island.

Give Himalayan Sea salt a go.You will like that one A LOT.
