Oli's Products Newsletter: October 2009

Fall's Here!
Fall is here, which inspired us to make lasagna, homemade pizza, and spaghetti and meatballs. So for the month of October, we’ll be featuring our Marvelous Mushroom Pasta Sauce. One customer from Sacramento says that even though she's not much for mushrooms, she found herself eating our sauce right out of the jar. (We're honored!) A new addition to Gluten Free Specialty, our mushroom pasta sauce is made with both diced and sliced crimini (baby portobello) mushrooms.

See us in person
So hop on down to Gluten Free Specialty (2612 J St, Sacramento, CA), for any of our products, and an assortment of other gluten free, dairy free, or vegan options. You can also come see us in person October 17 and 18, at Dave’s Pumpkin Patch in West Sacramento. We've been vendors at their farm for the past two years, and it's lots of fun for the entire family. Pony rides, huge corn maze, pumpkin-picking, food, and vendors. Seriously, it's a great local event. However, if you just can’t find the time, you can always place your order directly, with free local delivery.

And with the holiday season approaching, we will be beginning to offer pre-made gift baskets, available for local pickup only. We will be continuing last month’s special, the fall sampler pack: 1 16-oz Pasta Sauce, 1 16-oz Mild Salsa, and 1 8-oz Original Sweet ‘n Spicy Sauce all for only $13, but will also be offering 3 Pasta Sauces for $13. Not sure what to do with pasta sauce other than the basics? Check out this awesome list of 50 things to do with a jar of pasta sauce, courtesy of Food Network. And if you really want to stock up we will also be continuing our bulk show specials to everyone:
• Mix & Match any 6 jars for $25

I loved the 50 things to do with a jar of spaghetti sauce and you included my favorite which is to use it in soup. I make chicken tortilla soup with it.
