Sure I like to make things from scratch, but when I'm in a hurry, and have ten thousand things to do, and need something for dessert, I know Pamela's will never let me down. I picked up some of Pamela's chocolate cake mix and vanilla frosting mix and whipped up a batch of cupcakes this morning while multitasking.I had previously bought the frosting mix and melted the butter instead of leaving it out to get it at room temperature, per the instructions, but I figured what's the harm? Well if the butter is warm the frosting won't stiffen. I made sure to follow the directions exactly this time and man oh man, after some hard work moving boxes today my husband and I split a cupcake, and we just smiled in food ecstasy at each other. Moist & delicious.
