Weekend RoundUp

This was the first weekend in a long time that was relatively tranquil in comparison to the past 3 or 4 months, of doing a craft show every weekend. On Saturday I did something I had yet to do: I bought a car. In the beginning of October I was in a car accident (not my fault) that totaled my car, and thanks to a dear friend I haven't been stranded for the last few months, but finally things are getting put back into place. I need to take care of some interior cleaning and get new tires, make it my own. It currently feels like a stranger's. The Toyota Corolla has some of the best ratings in the smaller car arena, so I upgraded from a 1994 Geo Prism, to a 2001 Corolla. From blue, my beloved blue, to Champagne Gold, but come on people, let's call it was it really is: tan.

The rest of the weekend was generally mellow, taking care of paperwork and keeping the house free of mold and mildew. I tried a new recipe tonight for dinner: Pizza Soup, which was fairly good, but could use some tweaks, so I'm going to wait on posting the recipe. Me, the girl who used to hate everything under the soup and chowder umbrella, (except tomato soup, a staple while in college, but before I went GF), is now enjoying exploring the land of hot ladled liquid.

Yeah Baby! A wash, a wax and spray that "new car" smell on the interior and your good to go!
