Been looking for a gluten free, premade rice krispy treat? Recently I tried out Do More Bars, and while I think their marketing is misleading, the product itself is very good. The bars come in four flavors: Date Pecan, Pineapple Coconut, Raisin Peanut, and Orange Cranberry Pecan: all 4 are delicious, but my favorite is the pineapple coconut. They are a little sticky to the touch, but sometimes that's the fun of eating a product like this. They are sweet and chewy and is a great dessert item for those of you who brown bag it.
Now that I have told you they are yummy, I have to tell you if you see these in the store, you basically need to ignore their slogan. Advertised as a bar that is going to provide "the energy you need to do more!" this bar is truly nothing more than a sweet treat; a filler if you will. This slogan makes me think it's high in protein and will help me get through whatever task I have at hand. However in actuality these bars are essentially just carbs and sugar, but hey, we don't have to eat healthy all the time. Just make sure you have a nice balance in your diet.

Go to this website and find out about what corn syrup/fructose can do to you, your family and friends.
The sugar will pump you up but the let down won't be fun. You will do more for a while then drop like a rock. Too bad this stuff tastes so good. Today's market is about health...not how can we help you get diabetes.
